Hair & Skin Tips for the summer

Hair Tip 1: Before you jump in that pool, take a few seconds to wet you hair with tap water so you can limit the amount of chlorine that absorbs in your hair.

Skin Tip 1: Kelly recommends Skin Ceuticals SPF 30 to keep your face protected from the harmful rays, but allows you to get the "color" you want!

Hair Tip 2: For those beach babes & beach bums with highlights we recommend to mix sunscreen & water in a spray bottle. Lightly spritz your hair to help reduce the suns rays from lighting your hair even more.

Skin Tip 2: Kelly recommends CeraVe Cream to keep your skin moisturized as the sun & pool water tends to dry your skin out this time out year. You can find this product at most drug stores. Also, a conditioning treatment once a week will keep your hair from looking dry & brittle from sun damage.

Have your colourist put in some highlights for the spring/summer season. If you need to come in every 3 to 5 weeks, book your appointment now so there are no problems getting in when it's time.
If you don't already pre-book your hair appointments, start now so you can get in when it's convenient for you.

Hair Tip #2

Generally hair grows about 1/2 inch per month.
Short hair styles need to be trimmed evey 3 to 5 weeks.
Medium & longer styles can go for a couple of extra weeks, but no one should exceed 8 weeks, by then, the style has grown out completely and it will be more difficult for your stylist to recreate it.
